Program Entertainment Manager


The Program Entertainment Manager, under the direction of the Director of Operations and SVP, is responsible for providing support, direction and assistance to the program employees and overseeing and managing daily operations. They promote positive guest, client, and employee experiences by ensuring that all areas and aspects of the program are running at the optimum performance level. They work with respective BESTAgency clients and partners to coordinate projects, maintain overall program quality and ensure policies and procedures are consistently enforced and/or followed. They are the on-site point of contact for the client and Corporate Team.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Manages the completion and distribution of program schedules according to BESTAgency and client requests and requirements, manages modifications as needed and ensures information is relayed to employees accordingly; all schedules must be prepped and sent 2 weeks in advance to the employees and corporate office
– Manages the accuracy of employees sign in and clock in through PAYCHEX and all timesheets and distribution to the Finance Department, oversees the collection and distribution of payroll checks
– Is responsible for the management of all paperwork associated with the program operations including but not limited to shift schedules, time and attendance, maintenance logs, disciplinary forms, and worker’s compensation documentation
– Works with the hiring team regarding interviewing, casting and training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees
– The Program management team, including program supervisors, report directly to the Program Entertainment Manager; the Program Entertainment Manager is responsible for effectively communicating with the management team and giving directives as it relates to program operations, customer service issues, and team performance and discipline
– Enhances department and company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
– Works closely with the Corporate Office regarding booking, scheduling, and overseeing special event talent
– Attends meetings with Corporate Office as requested
– Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess the following:
– Previous Management Experience, preferably in the entertainment, hospitality or food & beverage industry; a minimum of 3 years in managing employees and/or talent, preferably groups of 20+
– Excellent leadership skills
– Professional demeanor
– Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work independently and as a part of a team
– Exceptional ability to communicate both orally and in writing
– Ability to multitask
– Must have strong interpersonal skills
– Adept at supervising and motivating employees
– Flexible schedule
– Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, employees, clients, vendors and talent
– Ability to maintain composure in a sometimes high stressed, fast paced environment
– Knowledge of computer programs including MS Office, Google Apps, and the Internet
