(Part-time) Assistant Entertainment Manager


The Program Assistant Entertainment Manager (Part-time) for the Streetmosphere Program, inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian/Palazzo, will be responsible for providing support, direction and assistance to the program team and talent; overseeing and managing the talent and the day to day operation.   Promotes positive guest, client, and talent experiences by ensuring that all areas and aspects of the program are running at the optimum performance level. Works with respective BESTAgency clients/partners to coordinate projects, maintain overall program quality and ensure policies and procedures are consistently enforced and/or followed.

  • Lead pre-shift meetings to discuss notes and directives from Program Entertainment Manager, the client and BESTAgency corporate, modifications to schedule, and changes in the daily operation
  • Must verify all team members have clocked in and signed in on the appropriate time sheet
  • Responsible for all paperwork associated with their shift including but not limited to shift schedules, time and attendance, logs, disciplinary forms, and worker’s compensation documentation
  • Responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are being followed and disciplining and coaching team members accordingly
  • Flexible schedule as may be required to work week-ends and holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Candidates should possess the following:

  • Previous Management Experience; prefer at least 2 years in the entertainment business either as a performer or in management
  • Staging and/or Choreography experience a plus; knowledge of sound technical elements
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible schedule; available weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, employees, clients, vendors and talent
  • Ability to maintain composure in a high stressed, fast paced environment
  • Entertainment, Stage and Production, or Events background a plus
  • Knowledge of computer programs including MS Office, Google Apps, and the Internet

Preferred Skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Entertainment, Event Management, or Theater and Production
