Entertainment Manager


Role and Responsibilities

The Program Entertainment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire program operation as it relates to BESTAgency employees as well as providing support, direction and assistance to the program management team, supervisors, and employees.  Promotes positive guest, client, and employee experiences by ensuring that all areas and aspects of the program are running at the optimum performance level. Works with respective BESTAgency clients/partners to coordinate projects, maintain overall program quality and integrity, and ensure policies and procedures are consistently enforced and followed.

  • Complete and distribute schedules according to BESTAgency and client requests and requirements, make modifications as needed and alert the talent accordingly; all schedules must be prepped and sent 2 weeks in advance to the client, all program employees and the corporate office.
  • Manager must ensure all employees clock in/clock out and  sign in/sign out correctly each day they work.
  • Responsible for observing and documenting team performance and communicating them to the corporate office.
  • Develop and oversee the changeover in team contracts and modifications to Policy & Procedures.
  • Interviewing, casting and training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees- *note:  may be involved in one or all of the hiring process.
  • Enhances team morale and company reputation by developing unique ways to reward employees for excellent job performance.
  • Uphold strong communication channels with management team to ensure a consistent message relating to discipline, appearance standards and daily responsibilities.
  • With the assistance of the supervisors, the Entertainment Manager is responsible for paperwork associated with the program including but not limited to shift schedules, time and attendance, maintenance logs, disciplinary forms, performance evaluations and worker’s compensation documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Candidates should possess the following:

  • Previous Management Experience; prefer at least 3 years in managing a large team/staff of 30+ employees.

  • Familiar with creating and managing a schedule for 30+ employees.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team

  • Adept at supervising and motivating employees

  • Experience and knowledge of Social Media applications

  • Excellent leadership skills.

  • Professional attitude and demeanor.

  • Exceptional organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.

  • Flexible schedule and willing to work outside of scheduled hours as needed; willing to work holidays and weekends

  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, employees, clients, vendors and talent.

  • Ability to maintain composure in a sometimes high stressed, fast paced environment.

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Knowledge of computer programs including MS Office, Google Apps, and the Internet.
